Privacy Policy

MAILAB provides content and commerce operations tools for businesses, creators, and MCN teams managing TikTok accounts and TikTok Shop showcase workflows they own or are authorized to operate. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when users connect TikTok accounts to MAILAB.

1. Information We Collect

When a user connects a TikTok account through TikTok OAuth, we may collect and store:

TikTok account identifiers, such as open_id.
Basic TikTok profile information authorized by the user.
TikTok OAuth token metadata required to maintain the authorized connection.
Metadata of the user's own public TikTok videos, such as video ID, caption, thumbnail URL, and publish time.
Publishing task information created by the user inside MAILAB, such as selected account, video file reference, caption, posting options, status, and logs.
TikTok Shop showcase metadata authorized by the creator, such as showcase product IDs, product titles, action status, and operation logs.

We do not collect TikTok account passwords.

2. How We Use TikTok Data

We use TikTok data only to provide user-facing MAILAB features:

To let users connect and manage their own TikTok accounts.
To display authorized account information inside MAILAB.
To import metadata from the user's own public videos for content review and experiment tracking.
To publish or upload videos only after the user reviews the content and confirms the publishing action.
To recommend eligible affiliate products and add selected products to an authorized TikTok Shop showcase only after user confirmation.
To maintain publishing status, logs, and audit records for the user.

We do not sell TikTok data.

3. User Control

Users can connect and disconnect TikTok accounts and TikTok Shop creator authorizations, choose which content to publish or upload, review posting options before final confirmation, review showcase product details before add-to-showcase confirmation, and request deletion of TikTok-related data stored in MAILAB.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share TikTok data with third parties except when required to provide MAILAB services requested by the user, when required by law, or with infrastructure service providers subject to confidentiality and security obligations.

5. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data. Access tokens and secrets are stored securely and are not committed to source code repositories. Access to TikTok data is limited to authorized systems and personnel required to operate MAILAB.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain TikTok-related data only for as long as needed to provide MAILAB features, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or maintain security. When a user disconnects a TikTok account or requests deletion, we will delete or anonymize TikTok-related data unless retention is required by law or legitimate security needs.
